How to Learn English Effectively
According to the globalization of the world, English which is the international language becomes more important. If we want to succeed in our business, it is necessary to know English. Even though we are not native English speaker, we should know how to communicate with people in English. Then, how can we learn English more effectively? There are three basic ways that will help people to learn English as a second language more effectively.
First of all, be familiar with American and English culture. If you know the culture well, you can easily understand the language, because the language is a tool to express the culture. So watch American movies or drama, and listen to American music and radio. It will help you to not only expose to English but also be familiar with the culture.
Secondly, try hard to learn the basic skills such as grammar, vocabulary, reading, listening, writing, and speaking. Do not focus on just grammar and reading. English is a language, which is a tool to communication, so try to study and practice all of the part.
Finally, do not lose positive attitude and practice a lot. We cannot get used to a language, so do not be frustrated early. Frustrating does not help you to practice English. When you meet the hard time to learn it, what you have to do is not giving up but keeping going to practice with positive mind. Think about when we learn our native language. It took a long time for us to get used to it.
To sum up, the most effective ways to learn English are knowing culture, learning basic skills, and practicing attitude. These ways seem basic, but these basic ways are the most effective ways to learn any language. There is no easy way or a shortcut. If you follow these steps, then you will find yourself communicating with others in English.
Now I understand, how it is difficult not being able to read Korean :-) (My first suggestion: change your blog's language into english)
