American Local Party

           Last weekend, I went to the American local party which requires people to bring their own or their country’s traditional food. Each person brings each other food, so we can enjoy various foods with various people. There were Americans, Koreans, Japanese, Chinies, Italians, Germans, Taiwans, Englishies, and Australian. It was really fun! Especially drinks after great dinner were so great that I cannot forget. I usually talked with a German guy who likes extreme sports, Though his major is information system and he is an exchange graduate student now, he rarely talk about his daily life, but he really enjoy talking about his amazing story under the sea (when he did a scubadiving), or in the sky (when he did a skydiving), we usually talked about sports. For me, it was a topic that I don’t know well, but it was extremely fun! Of course, talking with other people who come from various countries was fun. Another person who I met was English. He was a researcher of scientist, but he quit his job in order to travel the world. Now his “job” is traveler. Because he have been to Korea, I can talk about Korea and Korean people with him. He knows many truth about Korean people, so I was a little bit surprised. Talking and drinking made us be familiar and happy. It was a nice party, and I experienced new and enjoyable American culture. Living in another country is somewhat lonely, but still I can enjoy because every country, there are people who I can talk.
